"OLUWA" - Larimontu (MP3 & Video)

 With the impactful new track "Oluwa," UK-based pianist, singer-songwriter, and producer Larimontu made his musical debut. 

The song is inspired by a very personal event in the artist's life and combines beautiful musically with poignant words. Larimontu, whose real name is Larry Odiase Clement, explained how the song came to him during a time of intense personal loss and anguish. He claimed to have woken up from a dream in which he was singing the song's chorus. I was so moved by the tune and theme that I had to put it down right away. After I had tried everything on my own, it became my method of giving myself over to God.

The single was recorded in his home studio and reflects Lar’s musical journey, a path marked by years as a music director, band leader, educator, and jazz pianist. Now stepping into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter, he brings a fresh voice to his music with a sound that blends R&B, jazz, soul, and Afrocentric rhythms.

At 38, the Nigerian-born artist, who currently resides in England, is carving a niche for himself with deeply reflective lyrics centered on themes of hope, faith, and love. His dynamic vocal style adapts uniquely to each song, providing a listening experience that resonates on both emotional and spiritual levels.
