News: Nicki Minaj Retires, Returning as A Christian Rapper? [@NICKIMINAJ]

Nicki Minaj – Mrs Petty just dropped the big announcement via her twitter handle “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE ðŸ˜˜♥️🦄
July 2017, Grammy award winning Christian artiste Tasha Cobb's received alot of backlash for featuring Nicki Minaj on her song "I'm getting ready". During that period Tasha Cobb's granted an interview with Billboard where she had many things to say about Nicki Minaj, some of which are as follows;

“There are several conversations that we’ve had where we talked about her relationship with God. Like all of us, we have areas of our life that we must continue to work on, and she’s very verbal about that, but one thing that she never denies is that she’s not ashamed of her relationship with God. I remember when we first started to talk about it, she kept saying, “This is the first time I’ll get to expose my relationship with God to the world.” I still believe she’s really excited”
Earlier in 2016 Nicki Minaj while hosting “Queen Radio” on Apple music said this during a discussion about faith in the entertainment industry with Chance The Rapper.
“Sometimes in the music business, we think that other artists don’t believe in God or aren’t spiritual as we are…then when you find people, because I was just with Kanye, and he told me he’s a born-again Christian now,”
“Like, my first instinct was, ‘I’m so proud of you,’ because I could see there’s a peace that he has now that just surpasses everything,” she said. “And that’s what I find God gives you, and I love when I see men that are man enough to embrace God.”
Nicki Minaj seems to have been more open about her christianity lately, though she says she wants to raise a family, we hope and pray she also grows in her walk with God (Jesus). If she decides to come back to the mic, she might just turn to Christian Hip Hop – #Chh. What do you think? Anything is possible, remember Malice from hip hop duo Clipse, is now No Malice, a Christian rapper.
