Lexis Dominique Wright is a Boston native. As an active Church kid, Alexis developed skills in praise dance, speaking and most of all music. She regularly sang in her church choir, for praise and worship and solos. This passion grew into the dynamic musical talent and vocal ability we experience today. Alexis expanded her skill set academically with a degree in Sociology and Adolescent Counseling from Dean College. Her passion for ministering in song developed into a call to the preaching ministry, which she accepted publicly in January 2016. She will be ordained an Elder in October 2019.
Through her ministry, Alexis seeks to empower youth and young adults through her story of overcoming all obstacles through the grace of God. Alexis serves as Music Director and Praise and Worship Leader at New Mount Calvary Ministries under her father Bishop Lincoln A. Wright. She released her first single, “Ready” on November 16, 2018. Alexis also was voted Boston’s Best Female Artist of the Year. She is the Ministry leader of “A Wright M.O.V.E.” (Make Our Visions Erupt) while traveling nationally and internationally, using her gifts to the glory of God.
